Hotel Conturines is a family-run boutique hotel nestled in the heart of San Cassiano village. Set in the spectacular Dolomites, this charming hotel offers a perfect base for solo travellers seeking world-class skiing, stunning mountain scenery, and authentic Italian alpine hospitality. With comfortable rooms, traditional Ladin cuisine, a cosy wellness area, and easy access to the Alta Badia slopes and Dolomiti Superski area, Hotel Conturines combines genuine warmth with an ideal location for exploring the legendary Sella Ronda circuit.
Hotel Conturines is located in the heart of San Cassiano village, at an altitude of 1,537m. With its central village position, it provides stunning views of the surrounding Dolomite peaks, offering a true haven for skiing enthusiasts. The hotel is just 500 metres from the Piz Sorega cable car (a 5-7 minute walk), which connects you directly to the Alta Badia ski area and the legendary Sella Ronda circuit. A complimentary shuttle service is also available for convenience. From your base in San Cassiano, you'll have access to 130km of local Alta Badia pistes and over 1,200km of the Dolomiti Superski area. The village centre, with its shops, bars, and restaurants, is right on your doorstep.
Hotel Conturines features a range of comfortable rooms designed in traditional Tyrolean style, offering a warm and authentic alpine atmosphere. The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service between the hotel and the Piz Sorega cable car for the convenience of guests. While the cable car is only a 5-7 minute walk (approximately 500 metres), the shuttle service provides a hassle-free option at the end of a long day on the slopes.

San Cassiano is part of the Alta Badia ski area, which is part of the much larger Dolomiti Superski ski area. There are two main lift pass options available: "Alta Badia" (the local area) and "Dolomiti Superski" (the much larger ski area). The Alta Badia pass is usually sufficient for beginner skiers. The full Dolomiti Superski pass is better suited to experienced skiers and boarders, looking to explore and cover more ground.

The most efficient way to reach the resort is by taking a flight to Innsbruck in Austria, followed by a two-hour (approximately 100km) transfer.
Other options include Venice Airport, located 170km away and takes 2 hours and 30 minutes by transfer. And, Verona Airport which is 210km away, taking approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes via transfer. Please note, these Italian airports will offer far fewer ski transfers to San Cassiano than Innsbruck Airport.
