The Ski Gathering offer ski weekends for single skiers, pairs and sociable small groups. Grab a cheeky extra ski holiday, extend an existing trip, or squeeze a quick singles ski weekend in with what's left of your annual leave.
Our 2023-2024 short breaks are available across our resorts, all of which are dream destinations for ski weekends. World-class skiing, just over an hour or two from the airport. Book an early flight — you could be skiing by lunchtime.

As with any shared chalet, all guests enjoy breakfast around the same time. Your lift pass has been delivered to the chalet so, whenever you're ready, just head for the slopes. World-class skiing awaits...
The choice is yours: ski with the group or do your own thing. Some like to form small groups of similar experience levels or interests; others like to strike out on an adventure of their own. It's completely up to you.
Join the others for aprés ski in the resort centre, or head back to the chalet to get the first slice of the afternoon cake. We'll all have dinner together. Grab a drink with the rest of the gang, or hit the hay ready for a big day tomorrow.
The single-occupancy supplement is generally the biggest headache for individual skiers travelling alone. Usually, solos have to pay a premium for the empty bed, making ski holidays unaffordable for most singles and solo skiers. With The Ski Gathering, you'll be sharing a room so there is no single supplement. Sharing a triple or quad room, you pay slightly less than those sharing a twin.
Maximise your time on the slopes. Morzine is just over an hour from Geneva airport, so book an early flight and you could be skiing by lunchtime. With a late flight home, you can get plenty of skiing in on your arrival and departure days. We can help you plan your airport transfers so that everything runs smoothly. Minimum hassle, maximum skiing.

Looking to ski independently? You're not the only one. The Ski Gathering is all about individuals getting together and creating an unforgettable ski experience. Beginner or expert, skier or boarder, our social ski weekends bring together people to share the mountains and have a great time.
If you are in a small group of sociable people who would like to join a larger ski group then these are the ski weekends for you. If your ski partner is a completely different level to you, then you can both join people of a similar level for the day, then meet up at the end to share the experiences.

The "Just Ski" Package is different from our regular The Ski Gathering holidays. You will likely be sharing the chalet with guests who have not booked through The Ski Gathering, and these are not specifically solo skiers' weeks. There might be families, too (our other holidays are strictly adults only). In a nutshell, the Just Ski Package is more like a regular chalet holiday, where you book your own room and enjoy your own space.

No. The Ski Gathering does not offer "dating ski holidays" or "ski holidays for singles", as such. Instead, we tend to think of our ski trips as shared chalet holidays for individual skiers and sociable solo travellers.
You will be sharing the chalet with other independent travellers just like you, plus perhaps some groups of two or three skiers who already know each other but would like to mix with others. There will be a full range of abilities from day-one beginners to seasoned veterans of the slopes.

Airport Transfers are typically not included in our chalet prices though this does vary from resort to resort, we are very happy to arrange your transfers for you.
The best time to arrive (when possible) is some time in the mid afternoon of the first day. If however you need to arrive in resort at another time we will do our best to accommodate you. The reason we recommend mid afternoon on the first day is because it give you an excellent chance to meet the other guests
