A ski holiday doesn't have to break the bank. When all is said and done, it's all about the powder and the good vibes anyway. Our budget ski holidays let you focus on the slopes and the après ski, without having to worry about your wallet.
Join our budget ski holidays and enjoy the company of fellow solo skiers.
A budget-friendly way to enjoy a ski holiday in the company of like-minded solo skiers. Spend time with your fellow guests, hit the slopes solo or with a group, and the best part is, there's no single supplement! Enjoy all that Les Gets has to offer without breaking the bank.
Whether you're travelling alone or with a small group, you have come to the right place. Welcome to The Ski Gathering — a social event for skiers and snowboarders of all levels. Meet new people with similar interests on a skiing trip. Our ski holidays are suitable for both absolute novices and regular red run cruisers.
On our Budget Ski Holidays, we do things the simple way. Enjoy a continental breakfast in the morning, a two-course evening meal, and skip the usual afternoon tea for a well deserved après-ski.
As with any shared chalet, all guests enjoy a continental breakfast at the same time. Your lift pass has been delivered to the chalet so, whenever you're ready, just head for the slopes. World-class skiing awaits...
The choice is yours: ski with the group or do your own thing. Some like to form small groups of similar experience levels or interests; others like to strike out on an adventure of their own. It's completely up to you.
Join the others for a much-needed aprés ski in the resort centre, take a walk in the lively resort centre, or just head back to the chalet and enjoy its facilities. We'll all enjoy a two-course evening meal together. Grab a drink with the rest of the gang, or hit the hay ready for a big day tomorrow.
The single-occupancy supplement is generally the biggest headache for individual skiers travelling alone. Usually, solos have to pay a premium for the empty bed, making ski holidays unaffordable for most singles and solo skiers. With The Ski Gathering, you'll be sharing a room so there is no single supplement. Sharing a triple or quad room, you pay slightly less than those sharing a twin.
We have years of combined expertise, offering world-class ski breaks. We can appreciate that going on your first solo ski holiday can be a little intimidating, especially if you're doing it as a solo skier. You won't be alone at The Ski Gathering, as you'll be interacting with other amazing people who share your interests.
Beside being a popular and lively bar on the Front de Neige in Les Gets, après-ski is a concept on its own! Literally the French term for "after skiing", this is the time to celebrate a day on the slopes after your last run. Hit the bars as soon as the lifts stop, or anytime after lunch really, the choice is yours!
Skiing in March, you'll find fewer families around, and less of those snaking trails of beginners on the slopes. Skiing in April, you'll experience the party-vibe that spring brings to the resort's centre (when après-ski tends to start earlier). It's warm, it's sunny, and it's very relaxed. Plus, we often get a big dump of snow in late March, and we've had some of our best skiing then! So don't forget your sunscreen when you hit the slopes, head for a walk, or spend a long lazy lunch on the sun-bathed terrace of a mountain restaurant!
Why not bring a friend or two? The Ski Gathering is perfect for solos and small groups alike.

The best time to arrive (when possible) is some time in the mid afternoon of the first day. If however you need to arrive in resort at another time we will do our best to accommodate you. The reason we recommend mid afternoon on the first day is because it give you an excellent chance to meet the other guests
