Everyone loves kids, but there are lots of reasons why an adults-only ski holiday might be better for you. If so, you've come to the right place. Adorable as kids are, at The Ski Gathering all our ski holidays are strictly adults-only - no children allowed. We have designed the dream holiday for individuals, couples and small groups to meet and mingle in grown-up company. Sharing the chalet with like-minded adults, you can have company when you want it and total freedom when you don't.
In a shared chalet, some adults-only groups find that young families can dominate somewhat, dictating the atmosphere of the setting and the dynamics of the group as a whole. If you're looking to get away from it all and let your hair down, this might not be the ski holiday you have in mind.
The Ski Gathering is perfect for grown-up skiers who are looking to unwind in adult-only company. Whether you're travelling alone, as a couple, or in a sociable small group, our holidays allow you to meet like-minded grown-ups and enjoy the skiing in a relaxing child-free environment.
Our chalets are all available on a shared basis, so it doesn't matter how small your group is - most of our guests are couples or individuals travelling alone. For an individual or solo skier, this means you avoid the single supplement by sharing your room with other skiers and snowboarders just like yourself.
Our holidays offer company when you want it, freedom when you don't. Staying in our chalets, you have the option of mixing and socialising with other grown-up skiers and boarders during the evenings in the chalet and in the daytimes on the slopes. This goes whether you're travelling alone, as a two, or in a small group.
The Ski Gathering is also perfect for pairs of skiers who have different levels of experience, or simply different interests on the mountains. Some days, you can each join in with separate groups to suit your own level and then meet back up afterwards to share your stories from your day on the slopes.
As with any shared chalet, all guests enjoy breakfast around the same time. Your ski hire and lift pass have been delivered to the chalet so, whenever you're ready, just head for the slopes. World-class skiing awaits...
The choice is yours: ski with the group or do your own thing. Some like to form small groups of similar experience levels or interests; others like to strike out on an adventure of their own. It's completely up to you.
Join the others for aprés ski in the resort centre, or head back to the chalet to get the first slice of the afternoon cake. We'll all have dinner together (six nights). Grab a drink with the rest of the gang, or hit the hay ready for a big day tomorrow.
Absolutely, sociable couples are very welcome. Just ask us for your own double or twin room (n.b. all rooms are single-sex except by request by mixed-sex couples). Enjoy time as a two when you want to, join the rest group when it suits.
You will be sharing the chalet with individuals and pairs of skiers and snowboarders. There will be a full range of abilities from day-one beginners to seasoned veterans of the slopes.
No. There are no formal or pre-arranged group activities. Nobody telling you how to have fun. It's totally casual. Meet other friendly people and do whatever makes a ski holiday awesome for you.
In most cases, guests share a room. That can be as a pair or small group travelling together, or with people you meet in the chalet. Solo skiers sharing a room can avoid the single supplement.
Firstly, we offer adults-only ski holidays, so there are no children or teenagers. Perhaps more importantly, everyone who books has chosen to share their ski holiday with other outgoing and friendly people.
Yes, just let us know what you need and we will get everything sorted for you, hassle-free. We can arrange your lift pass, your ski hire and your ski lessons, if applicable. Happy to help.

Morzine is a lively, adult-friendly ski resort suited to all abilities, beginner or advanced. Situated in the heart of the world-renowned Portes du Soleil ski area, Morzine gives amazing access to some of the world's very best skiing, as well as its most integrated lift infrastructure. Beginners benefit from top-rate ski schools and steady blues running right into the resort centre. For a challenge, more advanced skiers and snowboarders head up the Chamoisiere for a nail-biting red or a thigh-burning black. Then, all meet up in any of Morzine's fantastic bars for a full debriefing at aprés ski.Morzine
Les Gets is the definitive picture-postcard resort. If it is perhaps a little quieter than neighbouring Morzine, or our other resort of Meribel, this should be weighed against the traditional Savoyarde charm the village retains, not to mention the world-class skiing it offers. Les Gets is a dream destination for sociable groups with mixed abilities, offering plenty of convenient loops and tree-lined circuits, allowing the group to disperse and reconverge frequently and naturally throughout the day's skiing. Finish the day in the open-air aprés ski bar at the foot of the slopes.Les Gets
Bulgaria's most popular ski destination, Bansko is arguably best known for the very good value it offers visitors. But there's much more to love than just the price tag. It's ideal for beginners and intermediates, with plenty of blues and reds to enjoy. After years of multi-million investment, Bansko now boasts the best lift infrastructure to be had anywhere in Bulgaria. It also offers the best snow, with good coverage from mid-December to mid-May. Traversing the Pirin National Park, Bansko skiing reaches heights over 2,500m. That's a vertical drop of over 1,500m.Bansko
