Nursery slopes in the village and forgiving greens make Les Gets ideal for your first turns.
Resort-wide activities, live music and social meet-ups every afternoon and evening.
Your all-inclusive package covers the essentials beginners need, plus a full festival programme:
Programme and timings may adjust for weather/operations; any changes will be communicated by your hosts.
Complete beginners and early-stage skiers and snowboarders of all ages, who want a structured first week with everything handled. You'll join others at your level, with clear meeting points, hosts and a daily schedule. Everyone is welcome to attend the 1er Ski Festival for beginners, you don't have to be a total beginner. As a beginner, it can be great to learn with others of your own ability - Not to mention all the festive activities on the agenda! You're all in the same boat, enjoying the same experiences and you can learn from each other.

Ready to plan your 1er Ski Beginners Festival week in Les Gets?
Fly into Geneva Airport (GVA) and meet your shared transfer for a short ride to Les Gets (approx. 1h-1h15). If you choose to arrange your airport transfer add-on through us, we'll confirm your pick up time and meeting point in advance — just land, link up and relax. On arrival, hosts will guide you through the program, the equipment fitting and your upcoming first ESF group lesson meet-up, so day one is simple from start to finish.

Beside being a popular and lively bar on the Front de Neige in Les Gets, après-ski is a concept on its own! Literally the French term for "after skiing", this is the time to celebrate a day on the slopes after your last run. Hit the bars as soon as the lifts stop, or anytime after lunch really, the choice is yours!
Yes. Morning lessons are ESF beginner groups and the whole programme is built around first-timers. You'll be with others starting at the same level.
No. Adult skiers of all ages are welcome. Lesson groups are based on ability and pace, not age. Choose the chalet that best matches your preferred social vibe (e.g. 18 to 30 age group, 30 to 50, mixed). On the snow, everyone progresses at their own level. And when it comes to live music and socials, join in as much or as little as you like.
Accommodation, Bed & Breakfast plus daily Afternoon Tea, 5 nights of 3 course evening with all-inclusive drinks, 6-day Les Gets-Morzine lift pass, 6 mornings of ESF beginner lessons (approx. 10:00-12:30), 6 days ski hire, and the afternoon/evening festival programme including ice rink evening, sledging, live music and much more.
Flights aren't included. Book to/from Geneva Airport (GVA) to align with the festival's dates and we'll handle transfers and everything in resort.
ESF beginner group lessons run approximately 10:00-12:30, Sunday to Friday. Groups are organised by level/pace and confirmed on arrival. Skiers and snowboarders are placed in separate groups, each with instructors specialised in their discipline.
No. Standard skis, boots, poles (or snowboard and boots) and helmet are included for six days of hire — all handled for you.
Activities may be adjusted for safety or conditions. Any changes are posted on the daily schedule and communicated by your host.
Absolutely! If you're a beginner snowboarder or want to give it a first go, you're more than welcome to join the festivities. Skiers and snowboarders are placed in separate groups, each with instructors specialised in their discipline.
You're also more than welcome to join in, even only off the slopes. You can purchase a "Companion Pack" that includes all the activities which are non skiing related. Just get in touch to find out more.
Yes — from sledging and guided walks to the ice rink party or live music, there's a full social programme every afternoon and evening. Join in as much or as little as you like!

Skiing in March, you'll find fewer families around, and less of those snaking trails of children on the slopes. During the festival, you'll experience the party-vibe that spring brings to the resort's centre (when après-ski tends to start earlier). It's warm, it's sunny, and it's very relaxed. Plus, we often get a big dump of snow in late March, and we've had some of our best skiing then. So don't forget your sunscreen when you hit the slopes, head for a walk, or spend a long lazy lunch on the sun-bathed terrace of a mountain restaurant!
After breakfast, you'll meet your ESF group for beginner lessons (10:00-12:30). Learn the basics — balance, snowplough, controlled stopping and first turns — progressing to gentle green and blue runs through the week.
After your lessons, join the others for a debriefing over lunch, or take time out for yourself. Afterwards, ski or ride with the group or put some practice in on your own. Whatever works best for you.
14:00-16:30: More slopes'time, rotating outdoor activities and guided sessions. Highlights include a sledging event at Les Perrières (with live music & afternoon tea buffet), a guided walk, karaoke on the main stage, an orienteering race on skis and a team challenge.
17:00-19:00: Après-ski options such as the ice rink party with DJ, sunset apéritif and live music in village bars. As with any shared chalet, all guests will meet back at the chalet to have dinner. From 21:00, selected nights feature headline events and live acts. Sun 22 March 19:30: ESF show/demonstration on the snowfront. Fri 27 March: certificate ceremony and festive closing evening.
