A beautifully renovated 18th-century farmhouse, Chalet Chez La Fine combines authentic Alpine character with all the comforts you need for a winter stay. With exposed wood beams, rustic stonework, and a homely chalet feel, it's a great choice for sociable solo ski holidays. The old stable has been transformed into a comfortable lounge, while the dining area still houses grandmother La Fine’s original stove, once used to simmer Savoyard soup. Spread across two floors, the chalet sleeps up to 15 people in 5 en suite bedrooms. This chalet is hosted by Mountain & Tradition.
Situated in the Perrières area of Les Gets, the chalet is a short walk from the Perrières ski lift, giving direct access to the slopes. A ski bus stop nearby connects you quickly to the Chavannes lift and the village centre, with its shops, restaurants, and après-ski options.
This chalet blends rustic Alpine architecture with modern comfort. Original farm features, such as the preserved hay rack and the traditional stove, sit alongside newly created guest bedrooms and spacious communal areas. It's designed to give you the character of a traditional farmhouse while providing the comfort and facilities needed for a sociable ski holiday.
The chalet offers five spacious and cosy bedrooms, all with private bathrooms, toilets, and complimentary toiletries. Rooms include: two double bedrooms; two suites for up to four people; and one double room with mezzanine, which has an additional single bed. Each room is equipped with a television, WiFi access, towels, heated towel rails, and hair dryers.
The open-plan living and dining areas form the heart of Chalet Chez La Fine. The lounge was once the farmhouse stable, while the dining room still features the original stove as its focal point. Guests also have use of a sauna and wellness area, ski storage, and free on-site parking. With WiFi throughout and plenty of communal space, the chalet offers a practical yet atmospheric base in Les Gets.
Expect all the classic Alpine recipes you know and love, prepared with care by our team. Delicious meals that are both a treat to look forward to and hearty enough for a skier's appetite, along with unlimited house beer and wine too.
The drinks are all-inclusive, so raise a glass to another unforgettable day's skiing. Each day, a selection of quality French wines (red/white/rose) and beer awaits you. When you're ready to explore the village, the nearest bars and pubs are just a stone's throw from the chalet.
Need a lift pass? Ski lessons or ski hire? Perhaps airport transfers? We can arrange it all for you at no extra cost. We take care of everything so you can relax. We can even have your lift pass waiting for you in the chalet when you arrive.

Les Gets is part of the larger Portes Du Soleil ski area. There are two lift pass options available: "Local Area" (Les Gets and Morzine) and "Full Area" (all 12 Portes Du Soleil resorts). The local area pass is usually sufficient for beginner skiers. The full area pass is better suited to experienced skiers and boarders looking to explore and cover more ground. Please note, the local area pass does not include access to Avoriaz.

If you are flying to Morzine or Les Gets then we would highly recommend you fly into Geneva (GVA) airport. Geneva airport is 73 kilometres from Morzine or Les Gets and has a transfer time of about one hour ten minutes. A lot of this is on motorway. This is the route almost everyone who flies in takes.
Lyon (LYS) airport is 199 kilometres from Morzine or Les Gets but It is usually better to avoid Lyon if possible as there are far fewer transfer options available.
Please let us know when you have booked your flights and we can arrange to have your transfers all ready and waiting for you when you land. We do not charge extra for organising this for you.

Les Gets is the definitive picture postcard resort. If it is perhaps a little quieter than neighbouring Morzine, or our other resort of Meribel, this should be weighed against the traditional Savoyard charm the village retains, not to mention the world-class skiing it offers. Les Gets is a dream destination for sociable groups with mixed abilities, offering plenty of convenient loops and tree-lined circuits, allowing the group to disperse and re-converge frequently and naturally throughout the day's skiing.
