Chalet La Rocade is hosted by our Les Gets chalet company, Mountain & Tradition, and they are proud to present this spacious and welcoming chalet. Perfect for larger groups of solo skiers, La Rocade combines excellent facilities with an unbeatable location. With eight en suite bedrooms, an outdoor hot tub, and three separate living spaces, this chalet offers both social areas and quiet retreats. Enjoy delicious evening meals and all-inclusive drinks throughout your stay, all just 300m from the slopes.
Chalet La Rocade enjoys an excellent location, just 300m from the Perrieres Express ski lift, making it perfect for confident skiers wanting quick access to the Les Gets Bowl and the wider Portes du Soleil ski area. For less experienced skiers and beginners, a convenient bus stop nearby provides easy access to the more central Chavannes lift and ski school. The village centre with its shops, bars and restaurants is within easy walking distance. Since 2019, a blue slope runs all the way down the Perrieres lift, making it easier for less confident skiers to return to the chalet each evening.
Eight spacious en suite bedrooms sleeping up to 13 solo skiers across three floors. Chalet La Rocade offers flexible accommodation perfect for larger groups, with a mix of double, twin, triple and quad rooms. All bedrooms feature en suite shower rooms, and the chalet's three-floor layout provides both social spaces and quieter retreats.
La Rocade's generous layout spans three floors, each with its own open-plan living area featuring traditional Alpine styling with modern touches. The middle floor boasts a cosy fireplace, perfect for gathering after a day on the slopes. Outside, the chalet's outdoor hot tub offers the ideal spot to unwind under the stars while sharing stories of your skiing adventures with fellow solo travellers.
Enjoy a delicious fully-catered package with a menu designed by Mountain and Tradition Head Chef Raphael and served by your own chalet host. Expect all the classic Alpine recipes you know and love, with a flavour and a flair you won't believe. The chalet's multiple dining areas mean everyone can eat together or smaller groups can enjoy more intimate meals.
The drinks are all-inclusive, so raise a glass to another unforgettable day's skiing. Each day, a selection of quality French wines (red/white/rose) and beer awaits you. With three lounges to choose from, you'll find the perfect spot to relax with your drink and meet fellow skiers. When you're ready to explore the village, the nearest bars are just a short walk away.

Les Gets is part of the larger Portes Du Soleil ski area. There are two lift pass options available: "Local Area" (Les Gets and Morzine) and "Full Area" (all 12 Portes Du Soleil resorts). The local area pass is usually sufficient for beginner skiers. The full area pass is better suited to experienced skiers and boarders looking to explore and cover more ground. Please note, the local area pass does not include access to Avoriaz.

If you are flying to Morzine or Les Gets then we would highly recommend you fly into Geneva (GVA) airport. Geneva airport is 73 kilometres from Morzine or Les Gets and has a transfer time of about one hour ten minutes. A lot of this is on motorway. This is the route almost everyone who flies in takes.
Lyon (LYS) airport is 199 kilometres from Morzine or Les Gets but It is usually better to avoid Lyon if possible as there are far fewer transfer options available.
Please let us know when you have booked your flights and we can arrange to have your transfers all ready and waiting for you when you land. We do not charge extra for organising this for you.

Raphael grew up in Les Gets before training as a chef and travelling to work in some of Europe's top Michelin-starred kitchens. Les Gets is the definitive picture postcard resort. If it is perhaps a little quieter than neighbouring Morzine, or our other resort of Meribel, this should be weighed against the traditional Savoyard charm the village retains, not to mention the world-class skiing it offers. Les Gets is a dream destination for sociable groups with mixed abilities, offering plenty of convenient loops and tree-lined circuits, allowing the group to disperse and re-converge frequently and naturally throughout the day's skiing.
